Q: What is consignment?

A: When you consign your items to Reems Closet, you essentially enter into a business partnership with us. We agree to sell your designer items on your behalf for a percentage of the value of the item. You retain ownership of the items until they are sold. 

 

Q: Which items do you accept?

A: We accept pre-loved, high-end designer handbags, shoes, clothing, watches, fine jewelry, and accessories. All items must be authentic and must be in ready to wear condition.

 

Q: Are all items authentic?

A: Reems Closet is licensed to resell authentic designer items, so all items are authenticated before being displayed online or in-store. Shop with confidence as we offer a 100% money-back guarantee. 

 

Q: Do I need to make an appointment to sell my items?

A: Yes! We ask that you make an exclusive appointment so that we can view your designer items in person and process your consignment contract.

 

Q: Do you also purchase items?

A: Yes! If you choose not to consign with us, we may offer to purchase your designer items on the spot.

 

Q: Do you offer a layaway program?

A: Yes! You have the choice to opt into our layaway program. We offer either a 1 or 2 months program, depending on the selling price of the item. We keep possession of your items during the payment schedule until fully paid by the buyer. 

 

Q: Do you have a pricing policy?

A: Yes! All newly displayed items are set at a fixed price for the first 2 months. 

 

Q: What happens if my items don't sell?

A: When you consign with us, your consignment contract is valid for up to 3 months. At the end of the contract period, if your items does not sell, you can either renew your contract at a reduced price or collect your items. Please note that items must be collected within 14 days of being notified by email or preferred method of contact.

 

Q: Which payment methods do you accept?

A: We are currently accepting the below methods as payments:

Q: Do you reserve items?

A: We do not reserve items. It's best to purchase items directly on our website or in-store to ensure you don't miss out.

 

Q: How often do you add new items in-store?
