Q: What is consignment?

A: When you consign your items to Reems Closet, you essentially enter into a business partnership with us. We agree to sell your pre-loved items on your behalf for a percentage of the value. You retain ownership of the items until they are sold.

Q: Which items do you accept?

A: We accept pre-loved high & mid-range designer brands as well as high street brands including handbags, shoes, clothing, fine jewelry, watches and accessories. All items must be authentic and be in ready to wear condition.

Q: Why should I sell with Reems Closet?

A: Simple – we have tons of experience. Reems Closet was Dubai's first vintage/designer resale boutique in 2008. Clients like to sell through us because we invest time and energy in making ourselves known in the market - we even have a newly launched app - and we are fully transparent in everything we do, no hidden charges or fees.

Q: How do I sell my items?

A: Simply use the Item Submission Form on the Sell with us page.

Q: How does Reems Closet decide on the selling price?

A: We consider the brand, condition of the item, and market demand to determine the right price so your items sell in weeks not months.

Q: Do you buy items outright?

A: Yes, sometimes we buy pre-loved items on the spot.

Q: Do you offer a pick up service for my items?

A: Unfortunately, not at the moment. You'll need to drop off your items during your scheduled appoitment. 

Q: Does Reems Closet have a pricing policy?

A: Yes, all newly displayed items are set at a fixed price for the first 2 months. So rest assure, we will not contact you about discount queries.

Q: Can my items be part of the layaway program?

A: Yes, you have the choice to opt into our layaway program. We offer either a 1 or 2 months program depending on the selling price. Dont worry, we keep possession of your items during the payment schedule until fully paid by the buyer.

Q: What happens if my items don't sell?

A: On the off chance your items don't sell within the 3 months contract period, you can either renew your contract at a reduced price or collect your items.

Q: Do you guarantee authenticity?

A: Shop with confidence as we take authentication seriously. We go the extra mile to verify authenticity, so that all items sold through us are the "real deal." All items go through a rigorous authenticity inspection before being displayed online or in-store. Plus, many items come with either the original receipt or a copy. We offer a lifetime guarantee on authenticity or 100% of your money back.

Q: Is Reems Closet a registered store/legitimate business?

A: Yes, Reems Closet is licensed to resell authentic designer items. All sellers are required to open an account with us by providing their Emirates ID/passport and sign a consignment contract.

Q: Do you sell must-have pieces?

A: Not to brag, but we have great stock, thanks to our amazing clients. Lucky for you, our fashionista clients like to spring clean their closets often, which means you get to but the latest season must-have luxe fashion. After all, we have been touted as one of the best kept secrets in Dubai.

Q: Which payment methods do you accept?

A: Currently we accept: Cash | Apple Pay | Mastercard | Visa

Q: Do you offer international shipping?

A: Yes, we offer international shipping via DHL Express, meaning you get to enjoy wearing your new puchase within days not weeks. View our Shipping Policy to find out more. 

Q: Can I return items?

A: Yes, we offer a 3-day returns policy for online purchases only. Please note all Hermes bags are non-refundable and sale item(s) can be returned for store credit only. View our Returns Policy to find out more.

Q: How often are new items added online and in-store?

A: Every day! To see our latest items, follow @reemscloset and @reemsclosetdeals on Instagram and Facebook, and pop into our retail store in Jumeirah Plaza, Dubai.

Q: Does Reems Closet reserve items?

A: We sell on a first-come, first-served basis, and therefore, do not reserve items. However, for in-store only items, we can hold up to 30 minutes to allow for travel time. Just let us know you are on the way.

Q: Do you offer instalment plans?

A: Good news, we are looking into 0% instalment plans and hopefully should have something available soon. Meanwhile, we do offer layaway programs for some selected items. 

Q: Do you offer a layaway program?

A: Yes, some items can be purchased on a layaway program for either a 1 or 2 months program, depending on the selling price.

Q: Does Reems Closet offer a buyback option?

A: Yes, you are in luck as we offer a 60-day buyback option. We'll purchase the item for 70% of the price you paid, if in the same condition. Otherwise, the price will be calculated as per the condition.
