Q: What is consignment?

A: When you consign your item(s) to Reems Closet, you essentially enter into a business partnership with us. We agree to sell your pre-loved fashion item(s) on your behalf for a percentage of the value of the item(s). You retain ownership of the item(s) until they are sold.

Q: Which items does Reems Closet accept?

A: We accept both pre-loved, high & mid-range designer brands as well as high street brands including items like fine jewelry & watches, clothes, shoes, handbags, and accessories. All items must be authentic and be in ready to wear condition.

Q: How can I sell my item(s) with Reems Closet?

A: Simply use the Item Submission Form on our website. 

Q: Does Reems Closet also purchase items?

A: If you choose not to consign with us, we may offer to purchase your pre-loved items on the spot.

Q: Do you offer a pick up service for my item(s)?

A: Unfortunately, we do not offer a pick up service; you need to drop off your item(s) at the Jumeirah Plaza store. 

Q: Does Reems Closet have a pricing policy?

A: Yes, all newly displayed items are set at a fixed price for the first 2 months.

Q: Can my item(s) be part of the layaway program?

A: Yes, you have the choice to opt into our layaway program. We offer either a 1 or 2 months program depending on the selling price of the item(s). We keep possession of your item(s) during the payment schedule until fully paid by the buyer.

Q: What happens if my item(s) don't sell?

A: When you consign with us, your consignment contract is valid for up to 3 months. At the end of the contract period, if your item(s) do not sell, you can either renew your contract at a reduced price or collect your items. Please note your item(s) must be collected within 14 days of being notified by email or preferred method of contact.

Q: Does Reems Closet guarantee authenticity?

A: Yes! Reems Closet is licensed to resell authentic designer items. All items are authenticated before being displayed online or in-store. Shop with confidence as we offer a 100% money-back guarantee.

Q: Which payment methods does Reems Closet accept?

A: We are currently accepting the below methods as payments:
American Express | Apple Pay | Mastercard | Visa

Q: Do you offer international shipping?

A: Yes, we offer international shipping via Contienetal Courier Services. For more information, please refer to our Shipping Policy on our website. To request a quote, please contact us via the chatbox.

Q: Can I return the item?

A: Yes, we offer a 3-day returns policy for online purchases only. For more information, please refer to the Returns Policy on our website. 

Q: How often are new items added in-store?

A: We display new items daily in-store, so best to pop regularly into our retail store in Jumeirah Plaza, Dubai. To see our latest items, follow @Reems Closet and @Reems Closet Deals on Instagram and Facebook, and check our website.

Q: Does Reems Closet reserve items?

A: Unfortunately, we do not reserve items; however, for in-store only items, we can hold up to 30 minutes to allow for travel time. 

Q: Do you offer instalment plans?

A: We are looking into 0% instalment plans and hopefully should have something available soon. Alternatively, layaway programs are available for some selected items. 

Q: Do you offer a layaway program?

A: Yes, some items can be purchased on a layaway program for either a 1 or 2 months program, depending on the selling price of the item. We keep possession of the item during the payment schedule until fully paid.

Q: Does Reems Closet offer a buyback option?

A: Yes, we offer a 60-day buyback option. We will purchase the item for 70% of the price you paid, if the item is in the same condition. Otherwise, the price will be calculated as per the condition.
